NITI Aayog released Paper on “National Health Stack”

  • The Central Government think tank NITI Aayog has unveiled the blueprint of “National Health Stack” (NHS), a shared digital healthcare infrastructure.

  • The blue print is in line with the implementation of the Centre’s Flagship Scheme Ayushman Bharat and other public care health care programmes in the country.

  • According to the Consultation Paper titled “National Health Stack Strategy an Approach”, the National Health Stack will facilitate the collection of comprehensive healthcare data across the country.

Indian Railways Introduces First Double Stack Dwarf Container Service

  • Under the guidance of Piyush Goyal, Minister of Finance, Corporate Affairs, Railways and Coal in order to capture the lost traffic through the new delivery for domestic cargo, Indian Railways has introduced Double Stack Dwarf Container Service.

  • The Train was booked from the Reliance Rail Siding at Kanalus at Rewari in the state of Haryana.

  • Due to this Double Stacked Dwarf Container Service, Indian Railways has received increased revenue of Rs 18. 50 Lakhs.

  • John Mathai was the first Railways Minister of Independent India.

India, South Korea Ink 11 MoUs – Complete List

  • India and South Korea signed 11 Memorandum of Understandings (MoU) during South Korean President Moon Jae- in’s visit to India.

  • The 11 MoUs signed between the two countries are –

    1. Upgraded Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) was signed to facilitate ongoing negotiations on upgrading India- RoK (Republic of Korea) CEPA by identifying key areas for trade liberalization (including shrimp, molluscs, and processed fish).

India and South Korea signed 5 MoU in Field of Science and Technology

  • India and South Korea have signed five MoUs in the field of Science and Technology in New Delhi.

  • Science and Technology Minister, Dr. Harsh Vardhan and this South Korean counterpart You Young Min signed three MoUs which are Programme of Cooperation 2018-21, Establishment of Strategy Group and Cooperation in Bio- Technology and Bio – Economy.

  • Two other MoUs were signed between Council of Scientific and Industrial Research and South Korean National Research Council for Science and Technology and IIT Mumbai and Korean Institute of Science and Technology, to further accelerate future-oriented cooperation.

First Ever India Tourism Mart to be hosted in New Delhi in September

  • The Ministry of Tourism will organize the first ever India Tourism Mart (ITM) from September 16th to 18th this year, the Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

  • The Objective is to create an annual Global Tourism Mart for India in line with major International Travel Marts held in other countries.
