AP DEECET 2020 is popularly known as the “Andhra Pradesh Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance Test”. The exam is conducted for those students who are willing to take admission in two years Diploma in Education at Government District Institutions in Andhra Pradesh. School Education Department of Andhra Pradesh is responsible for announcing AP DEECET 2020 (Manabadi) notification in the month of April.

Those who have completed their 10+2 or its equivalent examination from the board of Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana are only allowed to appear for the examination. Candidates who wish to get admission in the 13 district AP DIETCET colleges and private teacher training institute need to register and appear for the exam. AP DEECET 2020 Important Dates – Manabadi

AP DEECET 2020 Exam is going to conduct tentatively in the month of May 2020. The official examination conducting authority has not released the event dates of AP DEECET till date. However, tentative dates related to AP DEECET 2020 events is provided in the table below.

AP DIETCET 2020 Eligibility Criteria – apdeecet.apcfss.in

There is a set of eligibility criteria that an applicant need to possess in order to apply and appear for AP DEECET 2020 exam. Candidates must check the eligibility conditions mentioned below before going to apply for the Manabadi Exam. Eligibility criteria related to education, age and category are provided in the table below.

The candidates should satisfy Local / Non-Local Status requirement as laid down in the A.P.Educational Institutions (Regulation of admission) Order1974 as subsequently amended.

Age LimitThe candidates should have completed 17 years as on 01-09-2019.There is no Upper age limit.
Educational Qualifications
  • The candidate who passed or appeared for the 10+2 during 2017-18 final Examinations (Qualifying Examination) or its equivalent are eligible to appear for the entrance test. But, they should have passed the qualifying examination by the time of admission.
  • The candidate should have secured 50 percent of marks in aggregate in qualifying examination for appearing in the DEECET – 2019 for both A & B category seats. The minimum percentage of marks in the case of Schedule caste, Scheduled Tribe and Physically Challenged candidates shall however be 45 percent for both A & B category

seats.

  • The candidates who passed Intermediate with vocational courses are not eligible to apply.

AP DEECET 2020 Application Form – apdeecet.apcfss.in

To appear for the AP DEECET 2020 Exam, aspirants need to register and fill up the application form. Candidates must be aware of the eligibility criteria before going to fill up the application form. The application process comprises two phases i.e. Filling up Online Application and Application fee payment. Steps to apply for AP DIETCET Application Form is provided below.

Students must keep the following information ready for filling the details in the Application Form:

Admit Card number, place of study, the percentage of the qualifying exam.

Admit Card number, passing year, place of study for SSC or equivalent.

Caste in case of SC, ST, OBC candidate

Personal details for Name, Father’s Name, Mother Name, Mobile Number, Aadhar Number etc.

PH, NCC, NSS, CAP, Sports, etc.

Income certificate up to one lakh, two lakh or more than two lakh

Study or Residence or Relevant certificate for proof of local status

Recent digital color photograph and signature.

Step 1: Filling up Online Application

  • Visit the official website (apdeecet.apcfss.in) of Government of Andhra Pradesh School of Education Department. The link will be provided here once it gets released.
  • Students must go through the instructions carefully before filling up the online application form.
  • Fill all the details correctly in the application form.
  • Upload the scanned photo (30kb – 20kb) and signature (30kb – 15kb1.5 cm) in the required format
  • After entering all the details and uploading photograph and signature, finally, click on the Submit button.
  • Candidates are advised to download and take the printout of the filled in application form for future reference.

Step 2: Payment of Application Fee

Once the application form is submitted, pay the application fee of INR 600/- for General category and INR 500/- for students belonging to SC/ ST category. The application fee must be paid through online mode only via, i.e. Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking.

Correction in application form: Candidates can make changes/ edit in the application form till the last date of application form submission logging credentials in all the field can be made by entering complaints (Name, DOB, Community etc.) shall be entertained under any circumstances.

Exam Pattern of AP DEECET 2020 – APDIETCET(Manabadi)

The Question Paper of DEECET 2020 consists of 100 marks with objective questions.

Part- A (60 Marks) / Part- B ( 40Marks)

AP DIETCET 2020 Exam Center

During filling the application form, students can choose the examination centre according to their preference. Once the examination centre is selected and submitted cannot be changed later. Manabadi 2020 entrance test is held in the 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh.

Manabadi Admit Card 2020

AP DEECET 2020 Admit Card will be made available for downloading for the registered candidates from 10 May 2020 onwards (tentatively). Candidates can download the admit card of AP DIETCET by clicking on the link given below and entering journal number of the fee paid, the reference number of the application. AP DEECET  admit card and be downloaded a day before the examination.

AP DEECET 2020 Result

After the completion of the entrance examination, Andhra Pradesh School of Education Department publishes the result on its official website. Students can check the result through online mode only. They are advised to keep visiting the website to get latest updates. AP DEECET Result is scheduled to announce tentatively in the third week of May 2020.

AP DEECET 2020 Cut Off

Cut off is the minimum qualifying marks which should be obtained by the candidate in order to be eligible to appear in the merit list. Only merit listed candidates are eligible to participate in the AP DEECET seat allotment & counseling procedure. Cut off marks will be published on the official website. With the help of the cut off marks students will get an idea whether they are shortlisted for the selection process or not.

AP DEECET 2020 Merit List

The official counseling authority prepares and releases the AP DEECET 2020 Merit List for admission to diploma in an elementary education program in the participating colleges/Institution in state Andhra Pradesh. Merit list is prepared based on various factors such as the number of applicants, cut-off marks, and seat availability. Merit List contains the names of the candidates, Rank, and score, etc.

AP DEECET 2020 Counselling

The student’s final selection is based on the counseling round. Shortlisted candidates will only be called for counseling. Counseling will be conducted through online mode only. It is scheduled to be commenced in the first week of June 2020. Seats will be allotted to the candidates according to their marks and ranks in the examination.

Students have to follow the below-mentioned AP DEECET Counselling process in order to register and participate in the counseling:

  • Visit the official website of AP DEECET.
  • Search and click on the link related to Web Counselling Process.
  • Register and start filling the colleges choice
  • Now, pay the counseling fees through the payment gateway.
  • After that, the conducting board will announce AP DIETCET Seat Allotment.
  • If students get a seat in a Government college, he/ she has to pay an amount of INR 2500
  • If students get allotment in Private college, he/ she has to pay tuition fees of amount INR 12500.
  • Finally, applicants must report the seat allotted college.

Subject wise allotment of seats for admission into D.El.Ed. Course

Seat will be alloted based on the following percentage

1. Mathematics – 25% of seats

2. Physical Science – 25% of seats

3. Biological Science – 25% of seats

4. Social Studies – 25% of seats
