DEE Assam Assistant Teacher Recruitment 2018: Online Application For 5,393 Posts

The Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE), Assam has released the notification for the recruitment of the 5393 Assistant Teachers in Lower Primary Schools. The interested candidate can apply online by visiting the website of the DEE, Assam. The Scale of Pay will be (Pay Band II at Rs. 14,000-Rs. 49,000/-) along with the Grade Pay.

Eligibility Criteria for Assam Assistant Teacher Recruitment 2018

The applicant desiring to apply for the Assam Assistant Teacher 2018 should note that they can only fill the Application Form of the Assam Assistant Teacher Recruitment 2018 if they satisfy the eligibility criteria. The Assan Assistant Teacher Recruitment 2018 eligibility criteria are as follows:

• The applicant should have passed Intermediate or equivalent with 50% marks & possess D.El.Ed (2 years) or
• The applicant should have passed Intermediate or equivalent with 45% marks & possess D.El.Ed (2 years) in accordance with the NCTE, Regulations 2002 or
• The applicant should have passed Intermediate or equivalent with 50% marks & possess Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) – 4 years or
• The applicant should have passed Intermediate or equivalent with 50% marks & possess D.El.Ed (Special Education) – 2 years.
• The applicant should have passed TET conducted by the Government on the basis of the rules framed by NCTE.
• The applicant’s medium school for the post of Assistant Teacher will be selected on the basis of the Language-I selected in the TET for LPS.
• The applicant age should be in between 18-38 years. The applicant belongs to the reserved categories will be eligible for the age relaxation as per the government rules.
• The Lower Primary School regular teachers are not allowed to apply for this post.
• The teacher on the contractual job can apply for this post subject to they must satisfy the requirements.
• The candidates qualified the TET for 6^th Scheduled Area cannot apply for this post.

DEE Assam Teacher Recruitment 2018 Application Fee

The Application Fee for the Assam Teacher Recruitment  2018 is Rs. 200/- (Rs. 50 /- for SC/ST and Free for BPL candidates). The Application Fee is to be deposited in the form of the Indian Postal Order in the favor of Director of Elementary Education, Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati-19. The applicant has to submit the original Indian Postal Order slip at the time of Document Verification.

Selection Procedure of Assam Assistant Teacher Recruitment 2018

The selection of the candidate for the post of the Assam Assistant Teacher 2018 will be made in the following ways:

• The applicant who will fill the Application Form of the Assam Assistant Teacher 2018 will get the call for Screening Test/Document Verification.
• The applicant has to appear before the District Level Selection Committee for the Screening Test/Document Verification on the given Date and Time.
• The applicant who will fail to be present at the asked venue, the candidature of such candidate will be canceled without giving any intimation.
