Eligibility Criteria of IBPS PO 2021
The very first requirement to apply for IBPS CRP PO/MT VIII is to satisfy the required qualifications. A candidate who is interested but not possessing the eligibility criteria of IBPS PO is not eligible. If any such candidate submits his/her application form then the concerned authority will not accept his/her application. To provide the details on the eligibility criteria, we have explained each section very clearly on this page. IBPS PO Nationality
A candidate who is a national citizen of the country mentioned by IBPS is only eligible for filling the application form. Anyone possessing the nationality of any other country will not be considered as an eligible candidate. The details of IBPS PO Nationality criteria is mentioned below.
A candidate should be a citizen of India or
A candidate should be a citizen of Bhutan provided that a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India or
A candidate should be a citizen of Nepal provided that a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India or
A candidate who was Tibetan Refugee came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India provided that a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India or
A candidate of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India subject to a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
IBPS PO Age Limit 2021
Candidates age should be in accordance with the IBPS PO age limit. A candidate whose age is not as per age limit of IBPS PO are not eligible and his/her application will not be considered as valid. Candidates can read about IBPS PO age limit in a detailed manner from below.
The minimum age of a candidate to apply for IBPS PO is 20 Years.
The age of a candidate should not be more than 30 years otherwise he/she is not eligible.
A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02/08/1990 and not later than 01/08/2000.
Candidates belonging to the reserved categories shall be eligible for age relaxation as per the rules of government.
Candidates who will avail the advantage of age relaxation will be required to submit the necessary certificate in original along with photocopies at the time of Interview and at any subsequent stage of the recruitment process as required by IBPS.
In case of an Ex-servicemen who has once joined in a Govt. job on the civil side after availing the benefits given to him as an Ex-servicemen for his re-employment, his Ex-servicemen status for the purpose of re-employment in Government ceases. There is no reservation for Ex-servicemen in Officer’s Cadre.
The reserved category candidates will get relaxation in upper age limit which will be as follows

IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification
A candidate should meet the educational qualification of IBPS PO for filling the application form. We have mentioned about IBPS PO educational qualification here so that a candidate desiring to apply for the exam can check the details.
The aspirant should have completed Graduation in any discipline or equivalent from a recognised University.
The aspirant should possess the mark sheet and certificate obtained in Graduation.
Candidate should indicate the percentage obtained in Graduation calculated to the nearest two decimals in the online application. If CGPA / OGPA is mentioned in the mark sheet, the same should be converted into the percentage and indicated in the online application.
IBPS PO Eligibility Graduation Percentage
As per the official notification of IBPS PO 2021, there are no criteria of Graduation Percentage i.e. a candidate should have a Degree in any discipline from a recognised University. The fraction of percentage so arrived will be ignored i.e. 59.99% will be treated as less than 60% and 54.99% will be treated as less than 55%.
IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria: Guidelines for candidates with locomotor disability and cerebral palsy
A Compensatory time of twenty minutes per hour or otherwise advised shall be permitted for the candidates with locomotor disability and cerebral palsy where dominant (writing) extremity is affected to the extent of slowing the performance of function (minimum of 40% impairment).
IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria: Guidelines for Visually Impaired candidates
Visually Impaired candidates (who suffer from not less than 40% of disability) may opt to view the contents of the test in magnified font and all such candidates will be eligible for the compensatory time of 20 minutes for every hour or otherwise advised of examination.
The facility of viewing the contents of the test in the magnifying font will not be available to Visually Impaired candidates who use the services of a Scribe for the examination.
IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria: Guidelines for Candidates with Intellectual Disability (ID)
A Compensatory time of twenty minutes per hour of examination, either availing the services of a scribe or not, shall be permitted to the candidates with more than 40% Intellectual Disability (autism, intellectual disability, specific learning disability and mental illness).
