CBSE Class 12th Examination 2018
This year CBSE Conducted the Class 12th Examination from 5th March to 13th April 2018. Approximately 11,86,306 students appeared for the exams. The overall pass percentage was 83.01 percent and the top three regions this year were Trivandrum (97.32 percent), Chennai (93.87 percent) and Delhi (89 percent). Meghna Srivastava topped all India with 499 marks out of 500. Girls again outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 88.31 percent against 78.99 percent. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the Class 12 examination results 2018 on May 26, 2018.
Those who failed in CBSE Examination Class 12th had to give the CBSE Class 12th Compartment Examination held on 16th July 2018. The CBSE had conducted the Class 10 examinations from March 5 to April 4, 2018. The overall pass percentage was 86.70, said the board. Girls, with a pass percentage of 88.67, did better than the boys, who registered a pass percentage of 85.32. Prakhar Mittal from Gurugram, Rimzhim Agrawal from Bijnor, Nandini Garg from Shamli and Sreelakshmi G from Cochin, have scored 499 marks out of 500 to jointly top the CBSE Class 10th Examinations. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the Class 10 examination results 2018 on May 29, 2018.

About CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education)
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is a national level board of education in India. CBSE has asked all schools affiliated to follow only NCERT curriculum. There are approximately 19,316 schools in India and 211 schools in 25 foreign countries affiliated to the CBSE.
The first education board to be set up in India was the Uttar Pradesh Board of High School and Intermediate Education in 1921, which was under the jurisdiction of Rajputana, Central India, and Gwalior.
