IIT, Madras will conduct the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) 2019 examination.GATE 2019 is an examination conducted for admissions in M.E./M.Tech and Ph.D. programmes at IITs, IISc, NITs, GFTIs and other Universities in India. On the behalf of National Coordination Board (NCB), IISc, Bangalore and seven IITs conducts the GATE examination.

Latest Update for 2019 GATE Examination (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering)

The Information regarding GATE 2019 Examination was available on the official website of GATE on 6th July 2018. But after some time, it vanished from the official website. This year the GATE 2019 examination will include one more subject named Statistics.

The Candidates need to register themselves in the GOAPS ( GATE Online Application Processing System) . Without this, the candidate can not fill the form for GATE 2019 Examination.

  • The candidates will receive Enrollment number on the e-mail id.

Age limit

  •  No Age Limit for GATE 2019 exam
  • Nationality Must be Indian. Candidates belonging to Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Ethiopia and the United Arab Emirates will also be eligible for GATE 2019 examination.

Educational Qualifications for GATE 2019 examination

  • The candidates must have passed the Bachelor’s Degree in science or Post-graduate degree in the field of science.
  • no minimum percentage is required in the relevant degree.

GATE 2019- Examination Pattern

Below in this paragraph, we are providing the GATE 2019 examination pattern so that it becomes quite comfortable for the aspirants to prepare better for the war they are going to fight.

There is an online mode for GATE 2019 examination. The examination will consist of 65 questions from 24 papers carrying a total of 100 marks. The duration of the GATE 2019 examination will be 3 hours. There will be negative of 1/3 for the questions carrying 1 marks and in the same way the questions carrying 2 marks, there will be negative marking of -2/3. Negative Marking

GATE Examination Syllabus 2019

Candidates are looking for the GATE  examination syllabus 2019 before they start their preparation. The syllabus is different for different paper for GATE 2019 examination. (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) GATE 2019 Examination Answer key will be available after the Examination is conducted. The GATE 2019 examination Answer key will release tentatively in the third week of February. The Anskey Key for GATE examination will contain the correct answer to the questions. About GATE examination

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is an engineering Test to determine the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and science. Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technologies at Roorkee, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Chennai (Madras) and Bombay on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India conducts the GATE Examination.
