Eligibility Criteria for GDS recruitment 2020

Age Limit for GDS recruitment

  • The minimum age is 18 years
  • The maximum age is 40 years
  • There is some relaxation provided to SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates.
  • Nationality must be Indian

Selection Procedure for Gramin Dak Recruitment 2020

The selection of candidates for GDS recruitment will be based on the marks obtained by candidate in the 10th standard.

Documents verification Process for GDS recruitment 2020

Once the GDS merit list 2020 is released by the Indian post, the selected candidates will go through the round of the document verification. All the selected candidates are required to bring all the original documents as asked during the documents verification round. If a candidate remains incapable in bringing the required documents at the time of GDS verification round, his candidature will be rejected by the Indian Post.During the document verification round of GDS recruitment 2020, the candidate will have to produce the 10th certificate, Community Certificate if any, Computer certificate and all other documents as asked by the Indian Board. The Indian post will release the official notification for the GDS 2020 recruitment for the Documents verification round.

About the Indian Post Office department

Indian post office department was established on 1st April 1854. It comes under the department of Ministry of Communication and Government of India. Its main headquarter is in New Delhi at Sansad Marg. Currently there are 23 postal circles working in the country. Each circle is headed by the postmaster general.
