5th October 2018
At 5.30 p.m, the RRB has activated the exam center link for the candidates whose exam is scheduled till 26th October 2018. For the rest of the candidates, the board will release the exam details link on 18th October 2018.
1st October 2018
On 1st October 2018, the board published RRB Group D Admit card for 5th October CBT Exam. Using the registration number and password, candidates can download the admit card.
30th September 2018
On 30th September 2018, RRB had released the RRB Group D Admit card for the candidates whose exam is scheduled on 4th October 2018. Candidates can download the admit card from the official website of RRB.
29th September 2018
At 4.30 p.m- The RRB notified on the official website that the exam center link for after 16th October exam which was earlier decided to be released on 30th September is once again postponed to 5th October 2018.
At 3.00 p.m- The RRB Group D Exam center link will be made available on 30th September 2018 i.e tomorrow. Candidates whose exam is scheduled after 16th October, they can check their exam details from the official website.
At 10.00 a.m- the RRB has released the RRB Group D Admit card 2018 for the candidates whose exam is scheduled on 3rd October 2018. Candidates can download the admit card from the official website.
28th September 2018 
As per the Railway Recruitment Schedule, only two days are left for the link to get activated for checking the RRB Group D Exam Center for Post-October (16th October 2018), candidates. Approx. 1.5 Crore candidates Exam Centres are remaining to get released. The Link will be activated on 30th September 2018 on all the 15 RRB Websites.
The Website might face some technical issues as lakhs of candidates will be surfing through the online portal. It has found that candidates faced a lot of issues while downloading their RRB Group D Admit Card 2018 from the website. The Official Website went under maintenance for few hours. So, it is quite possible that the same thing might occur on 30th September 2018.
26th September 2018
Following the day, after the cancellation of the exam in Odisha, the board again canceled the RRB Group D CBT Exam in the West Bengal State due to West Bengal Bandh Call. The board has not confirmed any dates about the rescheduling of the exam but the board has hinted to re-conduct the exam after 16th October 2018.
25th September 2018
RRB postponed the RRB Group D CBT Exam in the Odisha that was scheduled on 25th September 2018. Candidates could not reach the exam center thus consequently, the board had to cancel the exam. The cancellation of RRB Group D in Odisha occurred due to Adivasi agitation who are demanding the recognition of their language where the Adivasi organisation interrupted the train service.
24th September 2018
On 24th September 2018, the board had scheduled to release the exam center link for the after 16th October RRB Group D Exam. This time again the board postponed the link to 30th September 2018. This is the fourth time that the board has constantly delayed the exam center link for candidates.
The screen displays ” The Exam City and Date information is live for candidates scheduled from 17.09.2018 to 16.10.2018 For all remaining candidates the details will be live from 30.09.2018 onward”
20th September 2018
On 20th September 2018, the board was supposed to release the exam center link for the after 16th October exam but this time again, the board postponed the link to 24th September 2018.
The board also warned the candidates to beware of the fraud videos that was circulated on various social media website and stated that the board conduct the exam in a professional and secure way.
The RRB Bhopal notified the candidates for the rescheduling of exam for the Bhopal Region that was scheduled on 25th September 2018 and SMS Regarding the same was sent on candidate’s registered mobile number. The board did not mention the specific region for the cancellation of the exam in the notification.
18th September 2018
Due to some technical glitches that erupted up on the official website, the candidates were not able to download the admit card for the exam scheduled on the 18, 19 and 20th September 2018. Thus, the board released the notification for the admit card on the official website.
The notification mentioned that the candidates who could not download their admit card were sent SMS with exam center and email with the link to download & print their e-call letter.
13th September 2018
Link to download the admit card for the candidates whose exam was scheduled on 17th September 2018 was released by the board on the official website. Candidates required the registration number and password in order to download the admit card.
Not only this, but the board also activated the link for the free travel authority pass for the candidates belonging to SC/ ST Categories.
They can download RRB free travel pass using their registration number and password.
Further, the board was supposed to release the exam center link for the after 16th exam but it was postponed to 20th September 2018.
12th September 2018
On 12th September 2018, as stated earlier in the notification, the board has activated the mock the test link for the candidates who are going to appear for the exam. The candidates can easily attempt the mock test using their registration number and password.
9th September 2018
As per the notification released, the board activated the exam center link where the candidates can easily check the exam details such as exam city, date, shift and reporting time for the exam.
The link was activated only for those candidates whose exam was scheduled between 17th September and 16th October 2018. For the rest of the candidates, the board had stated to release the link on 13th September 2018.
6th September 2018
On 6th September 2018, the complete details for the RRB Group D CBT Exam were provided in the notification released on the official website.
The notification mentioned the exact date of RRB Group D Exam, Activation of the Mock Test link for CBT to be released on 10th September 2018, Intimation of Exam City, Date and Shift to be released on 9th September 2018, Free Train Travel Authority pass for SC/ST candidates to be issued on 10th September 2018 and admit card to be released 4 days before the exam date.
29th August 2018
Three days following the announcement of RRB Group D CBT exam date, the board further released the notification detailing the Section-wise marks for CBT Exam.
Not only marks, but the duration of marks and total questions that will be asked in the exam was provided in the notification. In short, a brief exam pattern for RRB Group D CBT Exam was provided.
26th August 2018
The board has published a notification on 26th August 2018 where the board specified the RRB Group D CBT exam date i.e to be conducted on 17th September 2018.
While the board had also hinted a bit about the exam details to be released 10 days prior to the exam.
11th July 2018
On the 11th July 2018, the board has further released the notification related to application status and in the notification, the board has notified that the candidates can check their application status from the link that was live from 11.07.2018 to 23.59 hrs of 20.07.2018.
31st March 2018
On 31st March 2018, the board has closed the application form link. The candidates could not apply for the RRB Group D CBT after 31st March 2018 since the board had already extended the application form dates from 28th February to 31st March.
9th February 2018
On 9th February, the RRB released the notification named CEN 02/ 2018 for RRB Group D Recruitment 2018 for the recruitment of 62,907 vacancies for Group D. The notification released stated detailed information including zone-wise vacancies and eligibility criteria. Interested candidates had started applying for the recruitment.
