Railway Recruitment Board has released a notification regarding the section wise marks allocation for various sections in the RRB ALP First Stage CBT 2018 today (26th July 2018). Candidates will also be allotted with the Exam City, Date, and Session of the candidate. The RRB ALP Exam will be held on 9th August 2018. Exam Pattern of RRB ALP First Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)

As mentioned earlier, the First Stage CBT of Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician will be held on 9th August 2018. It is expected that the Exam may be conducted in different dates/ slots as many of the candidates have applied for this Posts. This year, RRB ALP has invited 26, 502 vacancies and around 46.75 Lakh candidates will be appearing for the Exam.

The Exam Pattern of RRB ALP First Stage CBT is as follows-

  • Total Time Duration of the First Stage CBT is 60 Minutes. 80 Minutes are provided to the eligible PWD Candidates accompanied with the scribe.
  • The Questions will be in Multiple Choice Objective Type Format.
  • Total 75 Questions will be asked in the CBT.

The RRB is also going to issue Exam City, Session, and Date of Exam for all the candidates who have applied for RRB ALP 2018 Recruitment today (26th July 2018). Not only this, the Reserved Category candidates can download their Free Travel Authority Pass from the RRB Official Website.

  5. Click on Submit.

  6. Read all the Instructions. Click on start to attend the Mock test.

  7. There will be a timer set in the Right Side of the screen.

  8. Answer the Set of Questions. When the timer set comes to an end, the CBT will end automatically.

RRB ALP First Stage CBT Exam Pattern 2018

The RRB is going to conduct the RRB ALP First Stage CBT on 9th August 2018. CBT stands for Computer Based Test, which means the Exam will be conducted online. Now coming to the Exam Pattern of RRB ALP 2018, the Exam will be held online for a total time duration of 60 Minutes and 80 Minutes for the PWD Candidates with a scribe. Total 75 questions will be asked from the following sections – Maths, General Science, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and General Awareness on Current Affairs. Each correct answer will carry one mark, and for every incorrect answer, 1/3rd of the mark will be deducted.

RRB ALP Second Stage CBT

The Second Stage CBT comprises of two parts- Part A and B. To qualify, the candidates have to clear both the parts. Both the parts carry different marks and weightage of marks. Total Time Duration of the Exam is 90 Minutes. The Questions are in objective type format, total 100 questions are asked where the scores are used for the Merit Preparation.

Document Verification

This is the Final Stage of the recruitment. Documents of the candidates will be verified at this stage. Candidates who qualify all the rounds will be called for Document Verification.

This year, over 46.75 Lakh candidates have applied for RRB ALP Recruitment Exam 2018. The candidates will be competing for 26, 502 vacancies of Assistant Loco Pilot and Technicians under the Indian Railways. As per the latest data by the Indian Railways, for a single seat, one candidate has to compete for other 279 Candidates which will be really tough. The competition is quite high. RRB Allots Exam City, Date, and Session to all the RRB ALP 2018 Candidates Today

The RRB will be issuing Exam City, Date, and Session to all the RRB ALP appearing candidates on 26th July 2018. Candidates can get to know their RRB ALP Exam City, Date of the Exam and the Exam Session of the RRB Assistant Loco Pilot First Stage CBT 2018. Not only this, the candidates who belong to the Reserved Category will be issued with a Free Travel Authority Pass. To download the RRB Free Travel Authority Pass, candidates will have to enter their Registration ID and Date of Birth as their Login Credentials. The Railway Recruitment Board will also activate the Mock Link for the First Stage CBT. Candidates can access all the links by visiting the Official Website of RRB. The First Stage CBT of ALP Exam 2018 will be conducted on 9th August 2018. The RRB ALP Admit Card 2018, will be available 4-5 days before the commencement of the Examination.

This Year, around 47.56 Lakh Candidates have applied for the RRB ALP Exam 2018. The RRB ALP Exam will be conducted to recruit candidates to fill in 26, 502 vacancies.

A notice has been published by the RRB saying that, the candidates can get to know about the Exam City, Session, and Date of the Exam and will be able to download the Call Letter of the Examination and Free Travel Authority Pass by logging in with their credentials.
