RRB has successfully conducted the RRB ALP & Technician Exam from 9th August 2018 to 31st August 2018. About 47 lakh candidates had applied for the RRB ALP & Technician Recruitment. The candidates who have appeared for the recruitment are now looking for RRB ALP CBT 1 Result.
According to the information, the RRB will select 15 times the number of vacancies for RRB ALP Second Stage CBT. Since the board has released 62,371 vacancies, the estimated number of candidates to be selected for 2nd Stage ALP CBT revolves around 9,65, 565 Candidates.
Not only this, the RRB Allahabad twitted to undertake the normalization process to calculate the marks of the candidates. Through the process of normalization, a candidate has a higher chance of getting more score in the exam.
What is the Normalization Process?
RRB has conducted the RRB ALP Exam on different shifts and slots. This consequently leads to the different difficulty level. To solve such issue, the RRB undertakes Normalization Process. Normalization is the process through which the authority determines a standard set of question paper. On that basis, the marking scheme is set and the marks for other candidates with more difficult questions will be approved. normalization is done to ensure the equality among the difficulty level of the question paper.

This year, about 47 lakhs of candidates had applied for the exam and nearly 36 lakh candidates had appeared for the exam. Maintaining the same difficulty level of question paper is quite tough for such a huge number of candidates and even when there are about 21 RRB zones conducting the exam at different exam centers.
Qualifying Marks RRB ALP CBT Stage 1
Below we are providing category-wise marks that candidates must score to be eligible to appear for the Second stage of the Recruitment process. The candidates must score this minimum marks to appear for next round of selection process.

- For the candidates belonging to General Category, the safest score to achieve is 35 marks.
- SC/ ST Candidates must bring 28 marks to be on a safer side.
- The safest score for ST candidates revolves around 24 marks.
