Candidates who have applied for the Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician for Allahabad Region are facing issues regarding the allotment of the test centers to them. Even the candidates of Uttar Pradesh region have been allocated with the test centers thousands of kilometers. The candidates are in a trouble.
A large number of Application Forms have been received from Allahabad. The RRB Allahabad has around 9.5 Lakhs of candidates from Uttar Pradesh and out of which, 3.5 Lakhs of candidates have been allotted to the test centers in Jalandhar, Ludhiana, and Bathinda of Punjab which covers a distance of 1000 Kms. The rest of the candidates have been allocated to the test centers in Rajasthan, Jaipur and other main cities.

The ALP and Technician Candidates are upset with this decision of RRB. At the same time, the test centers in the cities of Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal and Jabalpur have been made. Candidates are facing a lot of issues, as the candidates from Allahabad have been allocated with the test center in Bathinda. The Train Distance Route from Allahabad to Bathinda is 925 Kilometers. On the other hand, hundreds of candidates have been sent to the test centers in Jalandhar. The Train Distance from Allahabad to Jalandhar is 972Km.
The Candidates who are facing issues with the distance of traveling are dropping down complaints to the Railway Recruitment Board. The complaints are sent by phone, tweet, and e-mail. The Chairman of the Railway Recruitment Board has admitted that the complaints are being received by the candidates.
The Chairman of RRB Allahabad, Sam Naqvi said that around 9.5 Million candidates have applied from Uttar Pradesh out of which 6.5 lakh candidates have been allocated in their respective states test centers. Due to not getting computerized centers for Computer Based Test in the state, candidates have been sent to the other states.
