SSC GD Constable Notification Released for 54,953 Vacancies: Here’s what you need to know

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a notification stating the release of vacancies for the post of SSC Constable GD 2018. SSC has released a total of 54,953 positions for GD Constable. The Online Application process for SSC GD Constable 2018 will begin on 20th July 2018. However, the Link for online application Process is not active but the link will activate very soon. The Last date to submit Online Application is 20th August 2018. The exact date for the examination is not announced yet.

For an aspirant to be eligible for SSC GD Constable, he must possess a 10th Pass certificate. Along with this, his minimum age should be 19 years and must not exceed 23 years of age. There is some relaxation Provided to the Reserved Categories according to the norms.

The selected aspirants will be posted in the different forces such as BSF,  Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles.

The candidates applying for SSC GD Constable must undergo the stages that include the physical Examination followed by written Test and then Medical Test Process.

The written examination will consist of 100 marks objective questions checking their knowledge level. The subjects include general intelligence and reasoning, general knowledge and awareness, mathematics, and language.
