    About O Level Exam

    The motive of introducing the O Level Course 2021 is to provide fundamental knowledge of Information and Technology to a candidate. A candidate who takes admission in O Level programs get the education of Internet Technology and Web design, IT Tools and Business Systems, Programming and Problem Solving through ‘C’ Language, Introduction to Multimedia, Application of .NET Technology, Introduction to ICT Resources, Practical and Project Work.

    The O Level Course consists of Theory as well as practical subjects. Along with this, a candidate has to submit a Project of the related course after the examination. A candidate whose project is accepted by NIELIT is eligible for O Level Certificate. The name of the different subjects along with their code is mentioned below in the table.

    NIELIT O Level Exam Pattern 2021

    The o Level examination is conducted every year by NIELIT for the different courses. There are total 4 subjects for which the examination is scheduled. It is the choice of the candidate whether he/she wants to take all 4 exams in same the session or want to appear in these examinations in a different session. Each paper costs Rs.500/- to the candidate i.e. Rs.2,000/- for 4 papers. The scheme of examination can be checked from the table given below.

    O Level Exam Pass Percentage

    A candidate has to secure minimum passing marks to qualify the examination of each subject. On the basis of marks obtained, a candidate is provided with a grade in the examination. Such candidates who obtain a percentage less than 50 are provided with ‘F’ grade which means fail. The table below describes marks range and grade equivalent to it.
