Railway Group D Exam Pattern 2018 First Stage CBT

• The RRB First Stage is a Computer Based Test, which means that the Examination will be conducted online.
• The Total Time Duration of the Examination is 90 Minutes for Non-Scribe Candidates and 120 Minutes for Scribe Candidates.
• Total Number of Questions – 100 Questions
• Total Number of Marks of RRB Group D CBT is 100 Marks.
• Sections Included – Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Science and General Awareness and Current Affairs.
• Each Question carries one mark. For every wrong answer, 1/3rd marks will be deducted.

Section Wise Marking Scheme for RRB Group D CBT

Minimum Qualifying Percentage for Group-D CBT

The minimum qualifying percentage marks for CBT is divided into categories-

• For UR/General Category – 40%
• For OBC and SC Category – 30%
• For ST Category – 30%

These percentage of marks will be relaxed by 2% for the PWD Candidates.

Railway Group D Exam Pattern 2018 for Stage 2 (PET)

The Second Stage of RRB Group D is Physical Efficiency Test. If a candidate qualifies the CBT, then he/she will be eligible to appear for PET. The PET checks the Physical Strength of the candidate.

Examination Pattern of RRB Group D PET 2018 is as follows-

The Candidates will be selected on the basis of the following physical performances in PET.

Once, you clear the Physical Efficiency Test, candidates will be called for Document Verification. In Document Verification Round, candidates will have to show the documents of age, address and education to the RRB Exam Panel/Authority. If the documents that are produced is correct, then the candidate will be called for a Medical Examination.
