RPF Physical Eligibility Criteria

The Railway Protection Force has different physical eligibility criteria on the basis of the following:

• Height
• Chest (Unexpanded and Expanded)
• Weight

RPF Physical Height and Chest Criteria (Male)

The RPF Physical Height and Chest criteria are classified on the basis of the category of the candidates

• For UR/OBC Category – The Height should be 165 Cms and the Unexpanded Chest must be 80 Cms and Expanded Chest must be 85 Cms (for males only)
• For SC/ST Category – The Height should be 160 Cms and the Unexpanded Chest must be 76.2 Cms and Expanded Chest must be 81.2 Cms.
• For Garhwalis, Gorkhas, Marathas, Dogras, Kumaonese, and other categories specified by the Government, the height must be 163 Cms.

RPF Physical Height Criteria (Female)

• For UR/OBC Category – The Height should be 157 Cms
• For SC/ST Category – The Height of the candidate must be 152 Cms.
• For Garhwalis, Gorkhas, Marathas, Dogras, Kumaonese, and other categories specified by the Government, the height must be 155 Cms.

Recruitment Process of RPF 2022 (SI and Constable)

The Candidate has to submit only one application form for the Recruitment. The complete selection/recruitment procedure of RPF 2022 involves the following phases-

1. Computer Based Test

2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

3. and Document Verification (DV)

CBT Procedure for RPF SI and Constable Recruitment Posts 2022

• CBT stands for Computer Based Test.

• The CBT will be held in Hindi, English and other Regional Languages.

• The Standard of the Exam for Constable Posts will be 10^th/ Matric Level and for SI Posts it will be Graduation Level.

• For every correct answer 1 mark will be awarded and for every wrong answer 1/3rd of the marks will be deducted.

• Passing Percentage for UR is 35%, and for ST and SC is 30%.

• Total Time Duration of the CBT is 90 Minutes and

• Total Number of Questions asked – 120 Questions.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT) for RPF Constable Posts 2022

Based on the Performance or the merit, candidates will be called for Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Measurement Test to the extent of 10 times the category wise total vacancy in Group of Zonal Railways. However, the limit can be increased or decreased depending on the availability of the candidates. Passing the Physical Efficiency Test is compulsory for all the candidates and the same is qualifying in nature. The Criteria for the Physical Efficiency Test / Physical Running Time is as follows-

RPF Recruitment 2022 Document Verification

Based on the performance of the candidates in the CBT, and subject to their qualifying in PET/PMT, candidates will be called for the Document Verification. Candidates who do not appear the Document Verification will not e considered for the Final Selection irrespective of their performance in the written examination and PET/PMT.

Bonus Marks

Bonus marks are allotted in the following manner

For NCC Candidates

• B Certificate of NCC – 01 Marks
• C Certificate of NCC – 02 Marks
• Maximum Marks for NCC Certificate is 02 Marks.

Benefit is available only on production of Original Certificate. This benefit is not available to the Ex-Servicemen.

For Sports

• Represented University at Inter University Sports – 01 Marks
• Represented State at Interstate Sports – 2 Marks
• Represented India at International Sports Meet – 2 Marks
• Medal Winner at National Level Sports Meet – 03 Marks
