RRB ALP 2018 Salary Structure, Perks, and Allowances

After the successful selection of the candidates in the Railway Assistant Loco Pilot Examination, the candidates get appointed for the Assistant Loco Pilot Post. The loco pilot in the pre-revised pay band of Rs 5, 200- Rs 20, 200/- with a grade pay of Rs 1900. The Loco Pilot Post is the Class IV Cadre as per the Central Government Employees Hierarchy. The Seventh Pay Commission has been implemented in the Railway Department.

The Revised Pay Scale of the RRB ALP Employees is Rs 19, 900/- (Level-2 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix) plus the allowances and perks admissible and the minimum gross wage of the RRB ALP 2019 Salary is Rs 28, 000/- per month.

Perks and Allowances added in the RRB ALP Employee Salary:

The Above Pay includes the House Rent Allowances, perks, Provident Fund after the completion of every year service. After a year of complete service, he/she receives an annual increment at a speed of 3 on the basis of the performance within the job. Apart from the basic pay, the RRB Employees will be entitled to various perks/ benefits which include:

  1. Dearness Allowance (DA)
  2. Overtime Allowance

  4. Free Medical Facility at Railway and Empanelled Hospitals to the Staff and Dependents
  5. Free Railway Tickets to the Family Members on certain routes

  • Help the Loco Driver in tuning the Locomotive.

  • Checking the Locomotive regularly to increase its efficiency.
