Candidates, as you know that this year, the Railway Recruitment Board has opened up the largest recruitment drive for all the aspiring candidates who are willing to get a job in the Railway Department. About 40,000 vacancies are invited for both RRB NTPC and and RRB Group D Posts. There are few months left now for the Computer Based Test (CBT). The CBT may be conducted in the month of December 2020. So, as the RRB has provided information about the expected months to conduct the examination, candidates now have an idea and start their preparation for the Computer Based Test.

RRB had also given the opportunity to check their application status till 30th September 2020. RRB will also provide an opportunity to the candidates to upload the photograph as per the mentioned specifications. The First Exam is the CBT, that will be conducted online. This CBT will play a big role in the Recruitment of Group D Posts and for RRB NTPC and Technician Posts, it will take you to the next level of the selection procedure. This year, the competition is going to be super tough as 2.27 Crore applicants will be competing for around 90, 000 post vacancies. With such a large list of candidates, it is quite natural that many of the candidates will score same number of marks in the final merit. Now many of you must be thinking a lot of things in your mind. Which candidate will be selected? Which candidate will receive a job? For this arising questions, the answer is that the candidates will be selected on the basis of their age. In the official notification of RRB Group D and NTPC, it has been clearly mentioned that if in case, two or more candidates receive same number of marks, then the selection will be on the basis of the age. More the age of the candidate more is the chances of getting selected. Two persons will be older, they will be given more priority.
Apart from this, the Railways has made it clear that the Railway Recruitment Board recommends the names of those candidates who are nominated and their appointed is proposed by the concerned RRB Administration. Candidates will be provided with offer letter only after the satisfaction of all the norms including the vacancies and the preceding and the character in the process.
