RRB Self-Declaration 2018: Railway Group D Admit Card Self-Declaration Details

Railway Recruitment Board has released the RRB Group D Admit Card on 13th September 2018.  The RRB has also made an announcement saying that, the Railway Group D Hall Ticket 2018 will not have any self- declaration paragraph. This notification was released by RRB on 13th September 2018. Instead, a Self-Declaration paragraph will be displayed at the start of the exam and the candidate has to write it down in the space that is provided in RRB Group Admit Card. This procedure has to be done at the time of the Exam.

RRB Group D Admit Card Self-Declaration 2018

The Railway Group D Self Declaration Paragraph will be displayed on the screen at the beginning of the examination. Candidates have to write down the Self- Declaration Paragraph in the space provided in the RRB Admit Card. The Railway Group D Admit Card Self- Declaration has to be written in small letters. Candidates who write the Self-Declaration in capital letters in their handwriting, will be rejected. This process has to be done in the presence of the Invigilator.

What is a Self- Declaration Space for RRB Group D Admit Card?

The Self- Declaration in the RRB Group D 2018 CBT Exam is a proof written by the candidate claiming his/her identity. It is a written statement saying that the information that you have provided is true which is signed and stays as a proof of evidence.

The space to write self-declaration is the blank space that is provided in the RRB Group D Admit Card 2018. The Space for Self-Declaration is located under the heading “Copy the Declaration that is displayed on your computer screen in your running handwriting”. This has to be written in lowercase letters and has to be done in the presence of Exam Invigilator.

Candidates have to read the paragraph carefully and jot it down exactly in their own writing. Pen will be provided at the Examination Center. Just below the Self-Declaration space, there will be two more blank columns present – one for the left hand thumb impression and other for Candidate’s signature. The process has to be done in the presence of the Invigilator. Candidates will get an Ink Pad, where they will have to press their Left Thumb and make their thumb impression in the Admit Card.

Space for Left Hand Thumb Impression

In the Instructions box, of the Railway Group D (Level-1) Admit Card, it has been mentioned that candidates must not apply any Henna/Mehendi on left thumb. This can cause issues while imprinting the Thumb impression.

Space for Candidate’s Signature

Another box that is present just next to the Left Hand Thumb Impression is for the Candidates Signature. In this space, the candidate has to sign in front of the invigilator. In the last blank space, the invigilator will have to sign only if the candidate signs and writes the self-declaration infront of the invigilator.

RRB Group D CBT Exam 2018 Highlights

The RRB Group D CBT Exam 2018 starts from 17th September 2018 to 14th September 2018. The Railway Group D CBT Exam will be conducted for 49 days in three shifts.

The RRB Group D CBT Exam will be held for 49 days on the above-mentioned dates which means 11 days in September, 16 days in October, 13 days in November, 9 days in December 2018.

Railway Group D Admit Card 2018 has been issued by the Railway Recruitment Board on 13th September 2018. The Admit card for RRB Group D released on 13th September 2018 has been issued only for those candidates whose CBT Exam is on 17th September 2018. The Railway RRB Group D Admit Card will be available 4 days before the date of the examination.

The Link to check Exam City, Center, Date, Time and Shift was activated on 9th September 2018 whose CBT is scheduled from 17th September to 16th October 2018. The Link for the remaining candidates will be activated on 20th September 2018 (earlier dated on 15th September 2018).

This year, the Railway Recruitment Board has invited the largest recruitment drive for the candidates. Around 60,000 vacancies for Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician and 62, 907 vacancies for Group D Posts. A Total of 2.7 Crore candidates have applied for both the posts. 47 Lakh candidates have appeared Railway Loco Pilot and Technician Posts and 1.9 crore candidates have applied for RRB Group D Posts.
