RRB Vacancy Increase Soon from 90,000 To 1,10,000 for Railway Recruitment 2018 : Check Details

Railway Recruitment Board is India’s biggest recruitment platform has recently released that, there will be an increase in the number of vacant posts in the Railway Recruitment 2018. The Indian Railways will soon increase from 90,000 vacancies to 1,10,000 vacancies. More than 9000 additional vacancies will be made available for RPF (Railway Protection Force) and RPSF (Railway Protection Special Force).

Honorable Railway Minister, Piyush Goyal, today (Mar 29, 2018) tweeted that there will be 9000 vacancies in RPF and RPSF and the notification for the same will be released in Employment News from May 19th- May 25th, 2018. He added there will 10,000 more vacancies for L1 and L2 Positions in Indian Railways. It may also be noted that there is already a recruitment drive underway for more than 89000 Vacancies for L1 and L2 Positions, for which over 2 Crore candidates have filled the application form.

According to the media report, recruitment will be provided to both men and women constables and sub-inspectors in the Railway Protection Force. For Constable Posts, the candidate must have passed 10th and for Sub-Inspector Posts, candidates must be Graduate. About 50% of seats will be reserved for the Women Candidates. The Application Forms for Railway Protection Force will be accepted from June 1 to June 30, 2018.  

 Apart from this, the last date for Applying for RRB ALP/ Technician and Group- D Posts is 31st March 2018. The last date to modify the application form for both RRB ALP and Group D is 31st March 2018. The last date to make Online Payment for Registration and modification is 30th March 2018. RRB Officials revealed that around 2 Crore Applications has been received and the Board is expecting more applications by the end of the last date.  

Indian Railways has launched the Biggest Recruitment Drive so far. Since, a large number of candidates have applied for the Examination, the Examination will be a major challenge for the Railways.
