Eligibility Criteria for RRC CEN 01/2019

Railway Recruitment Cell will release an official notification RRC CEN 01/2019 on the official websites of Zonal Railways. The candidates aspiring to apply for the recruitment drive must be eligible for the posts. The candidates can check the official notification that we would update in a short while. In the official notification, all the necessary details will be elaboratively explained. For the time while, following criteria is expected to be followed. Updates would be done once the official notice comes along.

Nationality: Candidates who are interested in the RRC ECR Level 1 Posts must be an Indian National. Now, the Railway Recruitment Cell of Eastern Central Railways is also asking for Aadhar Card to fill online application. If you have not registered for the Aadhar card then visit any nearest Aadhar enrollment center and apply for the same otherwise you will not be permitted to send the application for the RRC Level -1 Posts Recruitment 2019.

Age Limit Criteria:

• The candidates who want to apply for the RRC ECR Level 1 Recruitment 2019 should not be less than 18 years and not more than 32 years.
• Age relaxation is applicable to the ST/SC/OBC and other reserved categories.
• The age relaxation norm is different for each category: For ST/SC it is for 5 years, for OBC it is 3 years and for Ex-Servicemen, it is 3 years.

Age Relaxation: Relaxation in Age limit is also given for reserved category candidates, which are as follows:

• By 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
• By 3 years for OBC candidates.
• For Ex-Serviceman, up to the extent of service rendered in defense plus 3 years provided they have put in more than 6-month service after attestation
• By 5 years for the candidates who have ordinarily been domiciled in the state of Jammu & Kashmir.
• By 10 years for a person with Disabilities ( 15 years for SC / ST and 13 years for OBC).

Educational Qualifications:

• The candidates must hold a Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
• The candidates who are in the final year/ appearing are not eligible for applying.
• The applicants should make sure that they fulfill the norms of the RRC ECR Level -1 Recruitment 2019.
• The candidates must also have a good typing speed as well.

Eligibility Criteria

Age – Limit and Nationality:

• The minimum age for the candidates under Sports Quota must be 18 years and the maximum age should be 25 years.

• The Minimum age of the candidate under Cultural and Scouts and Guide Quota must be 30 years.

• Age Relaxation will be applicable as per the Government Norms.

• The Nationality of the candidate must be Indian.

Educational Qualifications:

• Candidates must have passed 12^th Standard/ Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized Board/ University.

Application Fees and Mode of Payment:

• The Application Fees for the General/ UR Category is Rs 500/- out of which Rs 400 will be refunded if they appear the examination.

• The Application Fees for the ST/SC and Physically Challenged, Women, EBC Candidates is Rs 250/- out of which Rs 200/- will be refunded if they appear the examination.

RRC ECR Recruitment 2018 Online Application: 1898 Apprentice Posts

The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), East Central Railway has released the notification for the Apprentice Recruitment 2018. The online applications have been made available on the official website of RRC East Central Railway. The Applications will be available online only and it starts from 30th Jan 2018 (11:00 hrs) and ends on 28th Feb 2018 (17:00 hrs). The Recruitment Cell is providing 1898 posts. Online Applications will be available on the Official RRC Website-  www.rrecr.gov.in. In the recruitment selection procedure, a merit list will be prepared Division/ Unit wise. Selection Procedure of RRC ECR Recruitment 2018

• The selection for the Apprenticeship Training will be on the basis of the merit list prepared for particular Division/ Unit. The merit list will be prepared to take the average of the Percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in both Matriculations (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) and ITI Examination giving equal weight to both.
• If in case, two candidates have the same marks, then the candidate who is older in age will be taken as a priority for selection.
• If in case, the date of births is same, then the candidate who has passed the matriculation exam will be considered first.
• The final selected candidates will be further subjected to the verification of the documents and must be found the fit in the medical examination.
• After the submission of the online application, a Registration number will be issued to the candidate. This registration number must be kept safe as it will be required in the further stages of the recruitment procedure.

RRC ECR Recruitment 2018 Eligibility Criteria and Conditions

The different eligibility conditions for the Apprentice Recruitment are as follows:

Age Criteria:

• The candidates those who are applying for this posts must have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age as on 30.01.2018
• The candidates who belong to the ST/SC Category will be given 5 years of relaxation whereas, the candidates who belong to OBC Category will be given 3 years of age relaxation.
• The person with disabilities is given 10 years of age relaxation for UR Category, 13 years for OBC and 15 years for ST/SC Candidates.
• The relaxation for the Ex-Servicemen in the age will be total Military Service plus 3 years subject to the completion of at least six months of regular stretch service.
• The candidates who belong to the ST/SC Category and wants to avail the benefits that are provided for the ST/SC Applicants will have to submit Caste Certificate on Central Government Format issued by the appropriate authority according to Annexure-I. The certificate must be submitted at the time of document verification.
• Similarly, the candidates who want to avail the benefits of the OBC Reservation should submit their Caste Certificate and Non-Creamy Layer Certificate issued on or after 1.04.2017 on Central Government Format as per Annexure-2. This certificate must be submitted at the time of the Document Verification.
• The candidates who want to avail the benefits of the Armed Forces and Ex-Servicemen will have to produce a Discharge Certificate and in case of Children of Ex-Servicemen and Armed Forces, they have to produce a “Discharge Certificate” and “Armed Forces Serving Certificate” at the time of document verification.

Educational Qualifications for ECR Apprentice Recruitment 2018:

The candidate must have passed 10^th class examination or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks aggregate from a recognized Board and an ITI in relevant trade (ie National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by National Council for Vocational Training or a Provisional Certificate issued by the National Council for Vocational Training/ State Council for Vocational Training.

ECR Recruitment 2018 Application Fee

1. The application fee for the recruitment is Rs 100 which is non-refundable.
2. The payment of the application fee will be done online only through Debit/ Credit cards or Net- Banking.
3. After the successful payment, an e-receipt will be generated which should be printed and retained by the candidate.
4. If the transaction fails, then log in again and make the payment online.
5. The fee is exempted for ST/SC/ PWD and Women Candidates.

Application Procedure for RRC ECR Recruitment 2018

The filling of the application is done online only. The step by step procedure of filling the application form under ECR Recruitment 2018 is as follows:

1. Visit the website- www.rrcer.gov.in
2. Read the instructions carefully before filling the application form.
3. The candidates are required to login and complete filling the details such as: Personal details, Bio- Data etc. carefully.
4. At the time of registration, the candidates have to furnish their 12-digit Aadhaar number. If the candidates do have the Aadhaar number they can submit their 28-digit Enrollment ID. This provision is applicable to all the candidates except the state of Jammu and Kashmir, Meghalaya and Assam. N such cases, the applicants can enter their Voter ID, Passport Number, Driving License Number or any other Government Identity Document.
5. The candidates will also have to furnish their Aadhaar Number at the time of document verification.
6. Make sure you provide the correct information and education qualifications in the application form.
7. The candidates are advised to provide current active mobile number and valid e-mail ID. The candidates who are trying to submit more than one application form with different particulars, their application form will get canceled.

After the successful submission of the online application, the candidates have to take the print out of the application form and keep it safe. This can be required at the time of document verification.

Scanned Photograph and Signature Specifications:

1. The candidates are required to upload a scanned colour photograph of dimensions 3.5 cm X 3.5 cm. The photograph should be in JPEG/JPG Format with 100 DPI. The file size must be between 20 KB – 50 KB.
2. To upload a scanned signature, the dimensions should be 3.5 cm X 1.5 cm in JPEG/JPG Format with 100 DPI and the file size must be in between 10 KB – 20 KB.

Documents Required for East Central Railway Recruitment 2018

The candidates have to upload the following scanned documents in the online application form.

• SSC (10^th) or its equivalent marks sheet.
• Proof of Date of Birth Certificate.
• Mark Sheets of ITI of all the semesters of the trade in which applied/ Provisional National Trade Certificate issuing marks.
• National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT or Provisional National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT.
• Caste Certificate for ST/SC/OBC Candidates.
• Disability Certificate for PWD Candidates
• Discharge Certificate/ Serving Certificate in case of Ex-Servicemen Candidates.

RRC ECR Recruitment 2018 Application Last Date

Training Period and Stipend:

• The training will be arranged in accordance with the standards and syllabus prescribed by the Central Apprenticeship Council. The selected candidates will be paid a stipend fee during the Apprenticeship.
• No Hostel Accommodation is provided and the selected candidates have to make their own staying arrangements and they will be released after the completion of the training.
