Major Changes made in SBI Clerk 2018 – Exam Pattern and Cut Off
As we all know that the SBI Clerk 2018 has come after a gap of 1 Year, a various changes have been made that is mentioned below-
- The Sectional Timing has bee introduced in the Prelims Stage
- There will be no sectional cut off and overall cutoff in the SBI prelims stage.
- Adequate Number of students in each category as decided by the Bank (approximately 10 times the number of vacancies, subject to availability) will be shortlisted for the Mains Examination from the list of all the candidates arranged in the descending order of aggregate marks scored in the Prelims.
- There is no sectional cut of in Mains.
- Those who have qualified the Mains will be placed according their aggregate marks in the descending order in respective states and categories.
- The marks scored in Prelims will not be calculated or added in the Final Merit List. Only the marks obtained in Mains will be added in the Mains List.
- The Local Language Test is qualifying in nature. Candidates who have studied the local language in Class Xth must have it as a Proof.
- The Interview Stage has been eliminated for the Clerical Post. Therefore, there will be no Interview.
