SSC CHSL 2018-19: CHSL Recruitment Important Dates & Eligibility Criteria – Online

SSC CHSL advertisement will be released by Staff Selection Commission on its website tentatively in the month of January 2019. Candidates desiring to apply for vacancies of SSC CHSL should start preparing for the Tier-I examination. The SSC CHSL Recruitment application form can be filled in online mode by eligible and interested candidates only. Candidates should submit their application form before the last date. No chance will be given to fill the application form after the prescribed last date. Candidates can apply for SSC CHSL to get a job for anyone of the following posts.

  1. Lower Division Clerk(LDC) / Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA)

  2. Postal Assistant (PA) / Sorting Assistant (SA)

Eligibility Criteria for SSC CHSL Recruitment 2018

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria of SSC CHSL can only fill the application form. The eligibility criteria decided by SSC will be not changed for any candidate under any circumstances. Candidates can prefer the official SSC CHSL notification to know more about eligibility criteria such as Educational Qualification, Age Relaxation, Experience etc. The essential qualifications for a candidate to fill the application form are mentioned below.

  • Candidates should have passed Intermediate in any stream from a recognized Board.
  • For Data Entry Operator in CAG Office: Candidates should have passed Intermediate from Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board.
  • The age of candidates should be in between 18-27 years. Candidates belonging to the reserved categories shall be eligible for age relaxation as per the Govt. Rules.
  • Citizenship:

    • A candidate should be the citizen of India or

    • A candidate should be the citizen of Bhutan provided that eligibility certificate has been issued by the Government of India or

    • A candidate should be the citizen of Nepal provided that eligibility certificate has been issued by the Government of India or

    • A candidate who is Tibetan refugee and came to India before 1st January 1962 and is permanently settled in India provided that eligibility certificate has been issued by the Government of India or

    • An Indian origin candidate migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam provided that eligibility certificate has been issued by the Government of India.

SSC CHSL Application Form 2018

The application form will be available on the website of SSC tentatively from 19/01/2019. Candidates can be the application form of SSC CHSL in online mode only. All candidates are advised to read complete instructions before filling the SSC CHSL Recruitment application form to avoid mistakes. A candidate who has not registered himself/herself on the portal of SSC, he/she has to do registration in the first step after which they can fill the application form. Candidates should provide only correct details in the application form as same details will be printed on the admit card. The SSC CHSL Application Form with incorrect information will be liable for rejection without giving any intimation to the particular candidate. Candidates can fill the application form in the following ways given below.

  1. For fresh registration: A candidate has to visit the website of SSC can click on the link to ‘Apply’.

  2. Click on ‘CHSL’ button to move further for registration.

  3. Click on the ‘Register’ button and fill the form with basic details such as Applicant’s Name, Applicant’s Father Name, Applicant’s Mother Name, Caste Category, DOB, Educational Details, Permanent Address etc.

  4. Upload Photo (more than 4KB but less than 20 KB) and Signature (more than 1 KB but less than 12 KB).

  5. After filling all the required details, click on ‘submit’ button for the submission of registration form.

  6. Candidates will receive Registration Number and Password on his/her registered mobile number and email id.

  7. Use Registration Number and Password to Re-login and open the application form.

  8. Candidates should mention post preference according to their interest.

  9. Fill other details required in the application form.

  10. Make payment of the application fee by using Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking or E-Challan.

  11. Take a printout of the filled in application form and keep it safe for further use.

SSC CHSL 2018 Admit Card

SSC will release the CHSL admit card one week before the date of examination. SSC CHSL admit card 2018 for different regions will be published on their website. Candidates will be able to download admit card of SSC CHSL for all regions from this page. The admit card can be downloaded by only those candidates whose application form will be accepted by SSC. Candidates can access their admit card by using Applicant’s Name/ Parent’s Name/ Registration Number/ Application Number/ Date of Birth etc. The admit card is an important certificate to for the examination. Candidates are advised not to make any changes in the details printed on admit card. The steps to get access to the admit card of SSC CHSL is mentioned below.

  • Click on the given link of the regional website.

  • Enter Applicant’s Name/ Parent’s Name/ Registration Number/ Application Number/ Date of Birth etc.

  • Click on the ‘submit’ button to access the admit card.

  • SSC CHSL Admit Card 2018 will be displayed on the screen in PDF format.

  • Check the details printed on the admit card.

  • Take the printout of it and keep it safe for further use.

SSC CHSL: Tier-III

Tier-III would be of qualifying nature in which candidates have to appear for Typing/Skill Test. Candidates who will pass Tier-I and Tier-II will only get the chance to appear in the Tier-III examination.

For Data Entry Operator:

  1. Data Entry Speed of 8,000 Key Depressions per hour on Computer.

  2. Data Entry Operator CAG Office: Data Entry Speed of not less than 15000 key depressions per hour.

SSC CHSL Result 2018

The final result of SSC CHSL will be announced after the completion of all phases of examination. SSC CHSL 2018 result will be declared on the different regional websites of SSC in online mode. Candidates have to use their Applicant’s Name/ Parent’s Name/ Registration Number/ Application Number/ Date of Birth etc. to access the result.
