SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria 2019 : Age-Limit and Educational Qualifications Details

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the Entrance Exam of Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) for the recruitment of  Group-C and non-technical staff. The entrance exam consists of 2 papers on the basis of which candidates will be selected. The shortlisting for paper 2 which will be qualifying in nature will be held on the basis of marks secured by the candidate in paper 1. The cut off of paper 1 will be released by the commission. SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria 2019 Details

The SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria 2019 will be defined in the context of Nationality, Educational Qualification and Age Limit. The important details regarding the eligibility criteria are mentioned in points below, candidates can go through it and make sure that they are eligible for applying for the SSC MTS 2019 Exam.

One Leg Affected (OL), One Arm Affected (OA), One Arm One Leg Affected (OAL), Both Leg Affected but not Arm (BL), Blind (B), Low Vision (LV), Hearing (H), Communication (C) are eligible for the post of Multi Tasking Staff.

Educational Qualification for SSC MTS 2019 Application

  • Candidate must have passed Matriculation exam or equivalent from the recognized Board or University
  • Candidates who have not acquired but will acquire the desired educational qualification and acquire documentary evidence from the board/university will also be eligible to fill up the Application Form and appear for the exam.

Nationality

A candidate must be either:

  • A citizen of India, or
  • A subject of Nepal, or
  • A subject of Bhutan, or
  • A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Linka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Age Limit for SSC MTS Application 2019

The candidate’s age applying for the exam should be between 18-25 years. It should be noted that Date of Birth as recorded in Matriculation/Secondary Examination Certificate or an equivalent certificate will be accepted by the Commission for determining the Age eligibility and no subsequent request for its change will be considered.
