UPPSC stands for Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission. - Introduction to the Correction Facility – Candidates can edit their UPPSC Online Form 2018 after the submission if there is any mistake. The Commission has introduced a Correction Facility window so that the candidates can rectify the mistakes made in their Application Form.
- Changes made in the Marking Scheme – There has been a change made in the Marking Scheme of the UPPSC PCS Pre Online Examination 2018. This marking scheme can affect your rankings in the merit list. The UPPSC Commission has said that now 1/3rd marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. Earlier it was 1/4th Marks for every wrong answer.
- Only One Optional Subject – From this year, the applicants can select only one optional subject for the Mains Examination. This will change the total mark weightage of the Examination.
- Low Weightage of Interview – This year, the Marks Allotted for the Interview is 100 marks. Last year, the total marks of the Interview was 200 marks.
- This year, the Post of the Assistant Conservator of Forest (ACF) are also scheduled to be filled by PCS Examination Process.
